This Week on the Stream

We have a few games lined up for broadcasting, a few of them being Condemned, Resident Evil 4, Left 4 Dead, and pretty much every game by valve. But we won't be broadcasting these this weekend, Michael will be having a Half Life 1 race with one of his Steam friends and we will be broadcasting the whole thing for you to watch.

I'll report back with more information regarding the race once I get in touch with him.

Edit: Well, Michael's going to summer camp or something so this will be postponed until a later date. Thanks, jerk.

Intro Video

We at The Dark Room believe that, like in any professional work, an intro is necessary. We at The Dark Room also are poor as hell, so we don't have any kind of professional video editing software; Just Windows Movie Maker. Enjoy.

This shows all of two hours of painstakingly putting props against a wall at work by yours truly. We may make a better intro in the future, but that can wait until we are totally rich and famous (Or can swindle a tech-savvy internet friend into making one for us).

Dark Room Blog Launch

This is the blog of the group of people that like to pretend they are important by playing video games, yes this is The Dark Room.

You are reading the very first post on the Dark Room blog and there will be many more to come as we grow more powerful. All the news and events will be put here, as well as any little anecdote we feel important enough to post on our electronic public journal.

For those who want to watch the stream we use, at the moment we have no set schedule, but we try to keep it at every weekend, starting at about 8:00 central on Saturdays. We currently don't have a capture card to stream consoles with, so we are restricted to PC games at the moment.
